According to the source, “the results of nearly 54 lakh UP Board students who appeared to take high school and intermediate exams would be revealed in the third week of April.” Students must obtain at least 33% in each topic to pass the UP board exam.
For the first time in many years, the outcome will be announced early. According to the Secondary Education Board’s timetable for the 2023 tests, the UP Board of Class 10 and 12 examinations began on February 16. Class 10 examinations ended on March 3, and Class 12 tests ended on March 4.
The job of evaluating answer copies was completed ahead of time, on April 1st. In 14 days, more than 3 crores of 19 lakh answer sheets were evaluated. According to the UP Board Secretary, the training module was effective this time, and as a result of the training, the examiners had no difficulty analyzing the copies. For the first time, the UP board’s answer copies were assessed even on Sundays and holidays, thanks to the deployment of 1,43,933 examiners around the state. In addition, reserve examiners were retained. In the state, 258 evaluation sites have been established, where 1.44 lakh examiners will evaluate a total of 3.19 crore answer sheets.
Just as the board exams were performed with CCTV cameras and audio recorders, a provision was provided to monitor the evaluation work as well. The evaluation job was carried out under the supervision of CCTV and a voice recorder. For adequate evaluation monitoring, arrangements were also developed for continuous monitoring of all centers from the district and state-level control rooms.
After 30 years, the UP board has also established a record for conducting examinations without any hiccups such as paper leaks or paper cancellations. The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) monitored the exams alongside the education department.
Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister, also issued strong directives, including the imposition of the National Security Act (NSA), against individuals implicated in dishonest testing procedures.
