Is Gamora in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3?

Gamora appears in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, but she is not the same Gamora we’ve come to know. In Avengers: Endgame, it is explained why she is still alive and able to appear in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. In that film, the Avengers go back in time to acquire the Infinity Stones and return them to the present-day in order to reverse Thanos’ snap.

Naturally, tampering with time has a few unexpected repercussions. This includes Loki (Tom Hiddleston) fleeing custody in 2012 and creating an alternate timeline, as well as Gamora going to the current day in 2014.

The 2014 Gamora is still in the present by the end of the film. So she’s still Gamora from Earth-616, but from the past. She hadn’t yet had any experiences with the Guardians in 2014, thus they are like strangers to her. Gamora sets out on her own after assisting Thanos in undoing Thanos’ snap.

We have no idea where she has been since then, as she has been missing from Thor: Love and Thunder and The Guardians of the Galaxy Christmas Special. She did, however, end up with the Ravagers at some point. Gamora and the Ravagers cross paths with the Guardians in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and she appears to rejoin the latter group.

Will there be a Vol. 4 of Guardians of the Galaxy?

Gunn has said that Guardians of the Galaxy will be a trilogy. “I wasn’t planning to do this film for a long time. Then I returned. And the reason I felt I had to return was to tell this tale, and in some ways, I have a special connection to the character of Rocket, and I knew I had to complete to tell his story “Gunn said to EW.

Pratt agreed, telling the source that while watching the Vol. 3 trailer, “You’re immediately caught up not only in the thought that this is the end of this trilogy for all of us but you’re also reminded of the journey that the characters are on.”

The Marvel Universe is Growing in a Different Way

While Phase Five began earlier this year with the release of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania to mixed reviews, the latest Guardians of the Galaxy film may give a course correction as the saga proceeds towards the inevitable multiverse clash. Other Marvel projects fans can look forward to this year include The Marvels, which will be released on November 10, and Secret Invasion, a forthcoming television series starring Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, which will be released on Disney+ on June 21. Fans have a lot to look forward to as the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to develop in a new direction with the launch of the Multiverse Saga.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be released exclusively in cinemas on May 5.

How Gamora Returned for ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’

The release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is right around the corner. Tickets are currently on sale, the official video has been released, and some weird character posters for the sequel have surfaced. It’s been six years since Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was released, and while the Guardians have appeared in the Avengers movie and Thor: Love and Thunder, we’ve been waiting for the continuation of their solo film series with bated breath. Sadly, the sequel had various setbacks along the way, including the termination of director James Gunn, his eventual re-hiring, and the COVID-19 pandemic.

The plot of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has mainly been kept under wraps, but we do know that Adam Warlock (Will Poulter) and the High Evolutionary (Chukwudi Iwuji) will make their live-action debuts. The sequel is also likely to go into Rocket’s (Bradley Cooper) strange past, which was created by the High Evolutionary. There’s even talk of the Cancerverse making an appearance in the film.

What is going on with Gamora (Zoe Saldana) is the biggest enigma in the sequel. Gamora was brutally killed by Thanos (Josh Brolin) in Avengers: Infinity War, who sacrificed her for the Soul Stone. When the Guardians made a cameo in Thor: Love and Thunder, she was obviously absent. While Vol. 3 takes place after Infinity War, Gamora has appeared in the sequel’s promos, leaving spectators in the dark regarding her role in the next sequel.
