The whole Korean entertainment world has joined together to grieve the passing of Moonbin, a member of the K-pop group ASTRO. Astro’s Father, who was serving in the military at the time, took an emergency leave to attend Moonbin’s burial. Moon Sua, a member of the girl group Billlie and a later K-pop idol, will be the principal mourner during the burial.
Moonbin’s manager discovered him dead on April 19 at his Seoul house. He was 25. Suicide is suspected as police continue to investigate his death.
According to ASTRO’s agency Fantagio, group members Jinjin and Sanha were the first to arrive at the location after learning of Moonbin’s death. Since MJ’s vacation has been allowed, member Cha Eun Woo is traveling from the United States to Korea to attend the last rites.
Meanwhile, various celebrities and artists have expressed their sorrow at Moonbin’s death. The majority of them also rescheduled their scheduled activities, such as gigs, fan gatherings, and releases.
