“Girls’ Parents Get Money to Help Them”

Parents of girls can get money to help take care of their daughters. They can get up to 50,000 rupees for things like education and health. Here’s how they can get it:

1. They get 2,500 rupees when the girl is born.
2. They get another 2,500 rupees for the girl’s vaccination in the first year.
3. When the girl starts school in the first class, they get 4,000 rupees.
4. They get 5,000 rupees when she goes to class 6.
5. When she gets into class 10, they get 11,000 rupees.
6. And when she finishes class 12, they get a big amount of 25,000 rupees.

Bhamashah Card

To get this money, they need something called a “Bhamashah Card”. After May 15, 2017, the money goes straight to their bank account if they have this card.

When a pregnant woman goes for a checkup, they need to give their bank account details linked to the Bhamashah card to the doctor or nurse.

If they don’t have the card, they can get it from a special place called e-Mitra and give the details at the doctor’s office or a health center nearby. This way, they can get the money to help their daughters.”
