Help for Women in Amma Two Wheeler Scheme

Vehicle Details

There are some specifications set by the relevant authorities for vehicles that must be purchased to take advantage of the program.

  • The most volume must be 125 cc.
  • The vehicle must be registered under the Motor Vehicles Act 1988.
  • Vehicles must be manufactured after January 1, 2018, and must meet the latest emissions standards.
  • The Project Director (PD) of the Tamil Nadu Rural Life Mission (TNSRLM) in each district. This compiled/collected information on all the vehicles offered under this program.

  • Aadhaar card.
  • Proof of teaching qualifications or passing the 8th standard exam (SSLC, transfer certificate, etc.).
  • Passport-size photograph.
  • Evidence proving membership in the preferred category, if applicable.
  • Community certificate (in case of SC or ST)
  • A disability ID card is issued by the competent authority.
  • Vehicle invoice or pro forma invoice.
