G20 Summit: Over 80 foreign representatives from G20 nations will attend the activities in Varanasi, including Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the European Union.

G20 Summit: The G20 Summit will be held in Varanasi for three days beginning Monday (April 17), with authorities making final preparations. According to an official announcement, officials from 20 of the world’s major countries, as well as delegates from other partner countries, will attend the Agricultural Working Group conference, which will take place from April 17 to 19. The main gathering will take place at the Taj Hotel. Following that, there will be a ‘Kashi tour’ for guests.

Almost 80 foreign delegates from G20 nations will attend the activities in Varanasi, including Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the European Union.

Summit schedule for Day 1

The Meeting of Agricultural Chief Scientists (MACS) 2023, Sustainable Agrifood System for Healthy People and Planet, will begin on the first day of the summit.

The meeting’s first session will be titled “Food Security and Nutrition: The Role of Science, Technology, and Innovation,” while the second session will be titled “Resilient Agri-Food System.” The G20 delegates will attend the world-famous Ganga Aarti in Kashi in the evening.

Day 2 schedule of the summit

During the second day, there will be sessions on “Digital Agriculture and Sustainable Agri Value Chains” and “Public-Private Partnership in Agricultural R&D: Perspective from Developed and Developing Countries.”

The visitors will travel to Sarnath on the evening of April 18 to witness the museum and a light and sound performance, followed by a supper and cultural event at Buddha Theme Park.

On April 19, the MACS -2023 communiqué will be discussed and finalized, and the visitors will tour the Trade Facilitation Center (TFC) at Bada Lalpur in the afternoon.

The theme of the G20 Indian Presidency is ‘One Planet, One Family, and One Future,’ which honors the spirit of unity and peace among us in order to secure the world’s bright future.

It should be noted that a message will be sent during the three-day event to promote nutritious meals, food security, and environmentally responsible farming in order to keep the entire globe healthy. This year, India will host the G20 with the slogan Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. In Varanasi, there will be a total of six G20 meetings.
